Radio City Music Hall, NYC, New YorkHistoric 1943 photo via process-vision
Radio City in the early 40s. My parents were kids living in the Bronx at the time and like many NYC kids were brought into the city, to Radio City, by parents for the more special movies or at holidays or as treats. My older siblings, who mostly grew up in Connecticut, were brought in as well by my parents and grandparents. I grew up in Massachusetts, though, so no RCMH for me. (My mom did used to drive down to the Bronx Zoo for day trips, however, as she insisted my life would not be complete without.)
